2005; the year Sjaak Hullekes graduated at the ArtEZ Academy for Arts and Design was also the year the first Arnhem Mode Biënnale took place. Founded by fashion illustrator Piet Paris and event producer Lisette Schmetz the first edition was about Dutch fashion.
